You're good at your job.
So why does the next level keep going to someone else?

Want to see what they're seeing? Answer one real moment the way you actually would.

Live scenario · read in real time
This reads you as you type.
That was one line, read once. Reading you is just the doorway — what's on the other side is where it actually changes. You've seen a sliver.
That's step one, the read. See the whole loop ↓

One of these is probably you.

You work on confidence. The problem is influence. You work on communication. The problem is decision framing. You're solving the wrong problem.

Promotion. Influence. Leadership. You feel the outcome but can't name the cause. It has a name. You just haven't seen it yet.
Swipe to see all five
Different starting points. The same way forward.

Whichever one is you, the fix is the same: find the gap, then close it.

Find it. Drill it. Watch it close.

You see the exact behavior, rehearse it where it happens, and watch the gap close.

The Scanner
Diagnose
You answer real scenarios in your own words. We read the specific behavior in what you wrote, across four dimensions. Never a personality label.

02
The Ring
Rehearse against your actual boss
You build the people you're up against, your boss or that peer who talks over you, from how they really behave. Then you practice against them. Not a preset. Not a generic bot. Someone who pushes back the way your boss actually does.
03
The Ledger
Prove it changed
Every rep updates your signal with hard evidence. You watch a weak spot turn into a strength, and you can point to exactly when it did.
The Bench, for what you actually send
Drop in a real email before you send it and see how it lands.
Your corner
Reads your whole signal and calls your next rep, so you're never guessing what to work on.

Knowing isn't doing. The only thing that changes behavior is reps. So we drill it, with honest feedback, until it's reflex.

The same sentence. A different verdict at every level.

What earns you points early can quietly cost you later. Drag the dial. The words stay put; the read changes.

A real answer to a workplace scenario
"I got everyone aligned before we moved."
Strength
Building consensus and reading the room. Early on, that's exactly what earns trust.
Only what it means changes.

No box. No type. Just you.

When we say it's yours, we mean it.

The read comes from what you actually wrote.
Your gap
Scenarios built for your weak spot, not off a shelf.

About SkillDrill

Career development backed by evidence, not feelings.

Why this has to exist

Behavioral skills have always determined careers. But unlike technical skills, they've never been diagnosable at a behavioral level, or deliberately practiced before the real moment arrives.

Today's feedback compresses hundreds of tiny workplace behaviors into vague labels: "be more strategic," "improve communication," "show executive presence." Those aren't diagnoses — they're category labels. And even if you knew the exact behavior to change, the place to practice it never existed. You can't ask Monday's client meeting to happen five times.

SkillDrill closes that loop. It places you in realistic workplace situations, diagnoses the specific behaviors in what you wrote, and drills them against your real world until they change. Not lectures. Not personality labels. Reps.

What makes it different

Every assessment works the same way: you respond to scenarios in your own words. The evaluation identifies specific behavioral patterns in what you wrote — not what you meant, not what you intended. The result is a dynamic, evidence-based picture of your professional capabilities. Always honest. Always updating.

Honest

The signal shows where you stand, not where you wish you were. Gaps are starting points, not failures.

Evidence-based

Every piece of feedback quotes your own words back to you. Nothing vague. Nothing generic.

Practice-first

We don't add to what you know. We change what you do. Assessment finds the gaps. Practice closes them.

Frequently asked questions

How do assessments work?

You respond to realistic workplace scenarios in your own words. You get a full read of the specific behaviors in what you wrote, referencing your own answers, not a score pulled from a menu.

Is there a free tier?

Yes. Your first assessment is free, with the full read, not a preview.

How is this different from personality tests?

Personality tests tell you who you are. SkillDrill evaluates what you do: how you handle realistic situations, based on what you actually write.

Can my employer see my results?

No. Everything is private to your account.

How do practice drills work?

After an assessment, drills target the specific patterns it found in your responses. Your signal updates as you practice.
